The quality of the story, as well as the storytelling was phenomenal. To complement this, fitting music and sound effects were used to put emphasis on the mood of the story.
The art style was interesting, and it fit very well. It appeared to be hand drawn, but you may correct me if I'm wrong.
Lastly, the voice acting was superb as well. Although the audio quality wasn't perfect, the voice acting completely made up for this, as it was interesting and not without emotion.
Great job on this, especially for a first animation. :)
I don't know what the hell people are talking about. I thought the art and animation were both exceptional. It almost looked like classic FBF in some parts, which is definitely a compliment. Good job on this! :)
You know, this is exactly what Newgrounds needs more of. B.
Graphics: 10/10: You know, I didn't see any rough pixels or any mistakes at all in the graphics.
Animation: 0/10: Dude, come on, there is none! Work on that. Make the Bs have giant wiggling penises or something.
Sound: 5/10: Well, there is none either, but what could you do?
Story: 10/10: Dude, the story is amazing. It tells about how B is infinite and will never end. It's really a tearjerker, but not like those shitty Nicholas Sparks movies. This actually has interesting characters and a great plot.
Gameplay: 10/10: I didn't really see any mistakes. The controls are smooth. When highlighting the Bs, there are no framerate jumps or anything.
Overall: 7/10: This is a great submission overall. Good job!
Oh, Bonehead, you never fail to impress me.
I've been reviewing your Bonehead series since the first one, and I love seeing your art's quality increase, along with your great animation and sound. Everything seems to move smoothly, and coupled with your better art style, it seems almost perfect.
Art: 10/10, Oh man. You put detail into everything. The grass really impressed me.
Animation: 10/10, Like I said earlier, extremely smooth. If tweens were used, it's not very apparent. Great job.
Sound: 10/10, Like always, your microphone is amazing, as well as the quality of your sound effects.
Plot: 10/10, It was great, and very funny.
Overall: 10/10, 5/5. You have improved so much since the first episode in every aspect. This is my first 10 to you. Good job.
Thanks a bunch man! I've been appreciating yer' reviews since the first one, so thanks for all your thoughts and the time you've used to put out your thoughts! And first 10? :DD
Keep it up, and thanks again!
For a first flash, this is very good.
My first flash was blammed, so... Haha.
Graphics: 7/10: Some suggestions, use a glow effect on the sun and moon, and erase the lines. (Select the sun and click the box with the line through it to remove lines)
Animation: 10/10: No complaints.
Sound: 9/10: Just music, but it fit.
Plot: 10/10: Well thought.
Good job, I liked it.
A great movie, again with great audio and animation to go along. One suggestion would be to sharpen the images. The characters looked great, though.
Visuals: 8/10: Great shading, animation, and voice syncing. Some buildings and other things looked a little rushed, but with so many things to draw, it is understandable. A lot of random posters were pretty funny, too.
Sound: 10/10: You must have a really good quality microphone. Like your previous submission, the audio is fantastic.
Plot: 10/10: Easily understood and funny; Lots of original jokes and whatnot.
Overall: 9.3/10: Once again, you make a successful animation, suitable for a series. The attention to detail and quality of the plot, animation, and sound make this a great movie. Good luck on your future submissions!
Thanks for the support! Gotta' love it when a good reviewer comes along and busts out somethin' like that. :D
This, honestly, is one of my favorite flash movies. Cyanide & Happiness never fails to please, but this submission exceeded my expectations. The animations are great, and running much smoother than earlier ones. The music fits in every scene, and the voice acting is exceptional. The storyline, though, is the main reason I love this movie. It's rare that you find a flash movie with that great of a story.
Overall: 10/10, 5/5
Good luck on your future submissions!
I loved it.
You animate VERY well, and for your first submission, this is incredible. The way you blur things your eyes aren't focused on, your shading and light effects, everything was flawless.
Graphics: 10/10. You couldn't possibly do better.
Animation: 10/10. Your character's walking cycle and just about everything else looked just about perfect.
Sound: 10/10. You had sound effects for everything, even the elevator. The music was fitting.
Overall: 10/10. I will be surprised if you don't get a 4+ and daily feature. Good luck on your future flash animations!
This was merely a slideshow with music. Please at least use voice acting and make the mouths move. I give you a 1, because it wasn't spam.
Animation: 0/10, there was none.
Graphics: 1/10, these were bad. Use shading and a smaller brush size. You REALLY need some backgrounds. The audience has no idea where the characters are without a background.
Sound: 1/10, there wasn't any except music.
Plot: 0/10, there was no plot. What are the characters' names? Why do they host a "Newgrounds Show"? Why do you stress that it wasn't made by Newgrounds?
Overall: 0.5/10, rounded to 1.
The overall presentation was just awful. You need to work on this. At least make moving animations.
well i give it a 10 im new too flash so im just trying my best hey this is a beta
any way a scetch i was not planning to add voices cuz i dont have a mic would it be better if i add sound effects?
I don't understand.
What was the plot? I saw a guy walking into a restaurant, a girl, then it ends.
These were okay, and I understand it is harder when you are using something other than Flash. Sometimes I didn't even know what things were supposed to be, but I was more impressed with the scene outside of the restaurant.
Most of it was very low quality, and the voices were pretty bad. I don't know if your program is at fault, or your microphone.
It wasn't very smooth at all. The walking looked good, but as your character walked into the restaurant, he became rather pixelated. Not to mention, the text at the beginning was pixelated as well.
Overall, 4/10, 2/5
I do believe you can make a better and longer animation. Maybe work in collaboration with someone. It was around 30 seconds long, not counting all the times it repeats. Work on all elements of your animation, improve them. Make sure it meets your expectations before you submit it, because if it doesn't, then I'm certain it won't meet your viewers' expectations.
ok... so any vote on what you think the "big trouble" should be??
